1. Everest base camp trek
Everest base camp trek or EBC Trekking is one of the highland treks in Nepal on which Kala Patther is the highest elevation situated at 5545 m. It takes 12 days to complete the EBC trek which starts from Lukla and completes in Lukla. We should take a flight to Lukla before starting the trek and return to Kathmandu in flight.
2. Gokyo Cho La pass trek
Gokyo Cho La pass trek is also the high passes trek in the Everest region. Gokyo Ri is the highest point of the trek. It offers amazing views of Mount Everest and other highest peaks around Everest. It is more adventure trekking that includes Everest base camp, Gokyo lake, Cho la pass where trekkers can explore Everest region and Sherpa villages.
3. Manaslu circuit trek
Manaslu circuit trek is one of the highest treks in Annapurna region. Larke la pass is the highest pass at an elevation of 5160m. We can enjoy the amazing view of Mt. Manaslu, Birendra Lake, Manaslu base camp, terrace farming and the Manaslu conservation area.
4. Annapurna Circuit trek
Annapurna Circuit trek is also the highest trek in Annapurna region which covers the major landscape of Manang and Mustang districts. Thorong La pass at 5416 m is the highest elevation of Annapurna circuit trek. We should pass through the Thorong La high pass as early as possible to skip the stromy weather in Thorong La Pass after 12 pm.
5. Dhaulagiri circuit trek
Dhaulagiri circuit is an adventure trekking in western Nepal. It is also included in the list of highland treks in Nepal. This trek is a bit challenging with its 18 days route. The hidden valley is the highest point of the trek standing at an elevation of 5200 m.
